Patient Recruitment

Less sites, more participants

Leverage the PanAmerican Way.

This is a unique and proven approach to patient recruitment that requires less sites, delivers more participants, and maintains high engagement and retention – no matter the population or therapeutic indication.

Whether a sponsor or CRO, we collaborate with our partner to design the recruitment plan and perform country and site selection. To drive results and foster transparency and accountability, our research certified and medically trained study coordinators assist each site in recruitment and engagement and provide enrollment reports in real time.

The PanAmerican Way

Developed over the course of hundreds of trials and 30 years in clinical research, the PanAmerican Way was thoroughly tested under the most challenging and critical circumstances – the 2009 H1N1 Pandemic clinical trial run in Mexico City [Vaccine 29 (2011) 7826-7834].

Simple in concept and challenging in practice, the PanAmerican Way is more than a method. It is a way of thinking about a research site as more than just its patient database and patients as more than just a number. The site and its patient pool extends to the surrounding community and patient care extends to the actual individuals and their families. This method and thinking is embedded in PanAmerican Clinical Research’s culture of performance and genuine care for each individual enrolled.

Case Study

Client: Large CRO

Ask: Find and enroll trial participants in the Southwest and turn under performing sites into performing ones.

Situation: U.S. enrollment in this global phase III was lagging behind and jeopardizing timelines.

PanAmerican Solution: PanAmerican focused its efforts in cities with the relevant high disease incidence. This included identifying the right research clinics and health systems serving the relevant population, quickly forging relationships, supporting site onboarding, and performing recruitment and retention activities on the ground.

PanAmerican Result: What could not be accomplished in 2 years PanAmerican completed in 10 months, helping the CRO achieve its mandate and the sponsor complete a trial for a product that will positively impact healthcare and change lives for years to come.

“PanAmerican Clinical Research understands that recruitment for complicated protocols does not stop at reviewing a site’s patient database, or simply paying for an advertisement and then throwing up one’s hands. PanAmerican does whatever it takes and that is why they are successful. Whether sending their research physicians into communities to build trust and find patients, or conducting health screening fairs, or onboarding and training research naïve medical clinics with the right population, or building relationships with sophisticated health systems, or leveraging their impressive data resources, they will get the job done.”
